Should we change the way we think about intuition?

If you had to wear one t-shirt for the rest of your life, could you do it? I feel like this is what ‘niching down’ is. It’s having to select like 5 words to wear across your chest for the rest of your life. But there’s so much more to all of us. And by selecting those few words, I feel like we’re ignoring big parts of ourselves.

By ignoring our intuition, our inner truth, are we losing parts of ourselves?

I’m a certified intuitive healer. You won’t find that information featured in a lot of places, even on my website. Yet the people who work with me really connect with this part of my expertise. Why do I hold myself back from advertising this?

Our culture seems to singularly accept science-based healing as the only way to heal. And I’ll be the first one to celebrate a great research study based on hard evidence. It took me a long time to give myself permission to be both someone who appreciates informed scientific evidence and see that there’s more to the story. There’s more out there than we can prove in a scientific forum. There that which we know-KNOW deep down.

How did we get here? How do we trust ourselves when there isn’t research to back us up?

Can we change the way we see intuition to celebrate trusting our inner knowledge?

Can we be both?
