I needed to vent.
I had a run-in with a troll and it really got to me. I wrote some draft-worthy posts that were SO good, SO delicious, so well-crafted.
But I just had to give myself an attitude-check.
I’ve been watching some Twitch streamers lately and they all have a common theme: the ‘cozy’ tag. Simultaneously, I’ve been watching Youtube travel videos and the people I’m watching are friendly, informative, curious.
And that’s who I want to be to you.
I think it’s important, especially in the wellness industry, for me to be someone who is more of a guide and less of an incendiary device. To promote the radical act of self-love and kindness to self and others. To remember to laugh. To remember that we are more than the elevator pitches we’ve been trained to contain ourselves in.
So, in 2023 I’ll be working on a series of content that’s kind, curious, and friendly.

Also P.S. I found the title image with the bird of prey when I searched the Squarespace free image library for the term ‘fluff’ and laughed so hard I had to keep it—even if I’m the only one who finds it funny. (also buzzards deserve coziness too!)
